ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Why Ti?

You might be asking yourself why Bowhead offers the option of upgrading the frame tubes of the Reach from stainless steel to titanium. The answer is in the very description of this alloy. Titanium is powerfully agile and immutably tough, with unparalleled strength-to-weight ratio for rigidity, and just enough give to provide a spring and make you feel like you are floating on air. It is twice as strong as aluminum, only half the weight of steel, is impact resistant, fatigue tolerant, and will never corrode. Named after the Titans of Greek mythology, famed for their legendary strength, titanium is used in advanced aircraft, for armor plating, to build naval ships, spacecraft and missiles, and yes, even the Bowhead Reach adventure bike. As a material, it is peerless, and will be your forever frame.

Quad Handlebars, Grips, Brake, and Throttle Systems

The Bowhead Reach can be used by a quadriplegic with our quad specific handlebar. The brakes and throttle are operable just using your wrist extension and the bar ends help keep your hands from sliding off.
